I really Want to Come to the Closing

I think I’m gonna. If only for a day.
I feel like the opening might have been deflating for some of the crew, I don’t know. I was a little deflated. I think the edit was rough for a lot of folks. For starters.
Right now though I’m really really psyched that Jonny’s doing the tapes so everyone can go nuts with future editing. I think more than a few of us down/up here are excited to get re-inflated by whatever new cuts appear.
I keep having to remind people that Disembody’s lifespan extends way beyond opening night, the run or even the theater. Especially as new work based on the footage & misc. ephemera trickles in.
In time the Morgellon will just have been a set, captured on video, and disappointments & frustrations then shouldn’t have any bearing on the work’s future.
Except during the scene where people sit around gloomy and drunk, which might be the best part. If there’s no footage we can fake it.
Fucking safari what the fuck. I keep forgetting WP and safari = formatting disaster. Then I have to fix it in firefox.
I keep using safari because I basically hate all browsers and safari’s relatively clean interface for simple browsing appeals to me.
I liked opera but it’s kind of stuck in 1998 or some shit.
Firefox is I guess the ‘cool’ browser but lately it’s been as unstable and bloated as anything else so it can really just fuck off. Every iteration I’ve ever tried has been a crashy mess.
But I’m on a mac so I get what I deserve.
